Who Attends? Bank compliance officers (new to compliance attends the ABA Compliance School first), auditors, in-house and outside counsel, regulatory officials and examiners and consultants.
Planning for the 2009 program is underway. The program will be posted February 1, 2009. For those who wish to book travel early, you may view the 2008 program above to see a sampling of what might be offered in terms of topics. The 2009 program schedule will mirror the 2008 program schedule in terms of start and end times.
Service Members: We will put out an RFP for session proposals in July, with a deadline at the end of August. Speaker/session proposals will not be accepted past August.
Continuing Education Credits: The conference program will be posted February 1, 2009. The continuing education credits cannot be announced until the program is finalized. The 2008 ABA Regulatory Compliance Conference received the following continuing education credits: CRCM's: up to 25.25 credits; CPA's up to 22.0 CPE credits; CFSSP's up to 9.0 credits and CLBBs up to 8.75 credits.
Attorneys: Attorneys will sign up on-site for CLE credits. After the conference, the ABA will apply to the applicable state bars for CLE credit. We will not receive pre-approval for CLE credits prior to the conference.
