Invitation
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce for 2009 a Combined Scientific Meeting which marks the joining of the The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), (including the Faculty of Radiation Oncology (FRO)), The Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR) and the Australasian College of Physical Scientists & Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM). The organising committee are delighted to invite you to participate in and support this momentous meeting to be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane Australia, 22-25 October 2009.
The Combined Scientific Meeting has been planned around a theme of ‘Collaboration: Working and Learning Together’ to facilitate a better understanding of the various roles of the professions working in radiology and radiation therapy treatment services and to provide a multidisciplinary education environment.
A high profile, well respected international faculty ably supported with a local Australasian faculty will create an exciting innovative scientific program that will include interactive workshop style sessions that encourage participant activity and provide the opportunity to practice skills. This will be the sixtieth annual scientific meeting convened by The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists; a meeting that holds a secure position as the most prestigious and professional Radiology and Radiation Oncology meeting in Australasia. The 2009 Combined Scientific Meeting will provide a unique opportunity for inter-professional education.
The excellent social program promises you many opportunities to network with your colleagues and renew old friendships in some of the exciting venues in Brisbane. Brisbane offers some of the newest, most versatile and enjoyable venues in the country featuring a combination of indoor and outdoor venues catering for all occasions.
