The APRA Conference

The APRA conference is an annual event usually taking place over two days in late September. If you would like to present a paper at the conference please send an abstract (150-250 words) to apra@csu.edu.au. Deadline for submissions is June 27, 2008.

Keynote speaker/s

Peter Forrest & Max Charlesworth

Professor Forrest works in the area of the philosophy of physics, epistemology, metaphysics and philosophy of religion. He is an associate editor of the Australasian Journal of philosophy and currently teaches at the University of New England. His publications include, God without the Supernatural, Quantum Metaphysics, and The Dynamics of Belief: A Normative Logic. His most recent book is Developmental Theism: From Pure Will to Unbounded Love published by OUP in 2007.

Max Charlesworth is a former Professor of Philosophy, Foundation Dean of the School of Humanities at Deakin University and on the editorial committee of the international journal Bioethics. His publications include The Problem of Religious Language, The Golden Bough and After: One Hundred Years of the Scientific Study of Religion and Religion in
Aboriginal Australia.

Time Slots Papers should be presented within either a 1 hour time slot (allowing 15-30mins for questions).
