For the fifth consecutive year, QUT is pleased to host the Universities' HR Benchmarking Conference. The conference aims to connect and inform participants through a program which provides opportunities for networking and discussion on current HR challenges and trends within the Higher Education (HE) sector. This year, the conference will be held in Melbourne at the Park Hyatt, on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 October 2008.
This conference is relevant to:
-HR practitioners from the higher education sector -HR Directors and Senior HR Managers who have significant decision making roles -HR practitioners in the functions of Workforce Planning, Recruitment, HR Systems, HR Projects and Organisational Development -both HR generalists and HR specialists
The objectives of the conference are:
-Reviewing the process and results of the Universities’ HR Benchmarking Program; -Sharing relevant HR strategic success stories, including workforce management strategies; -Exploring practical techniques and university specific case studies in workforce planning; -Learning about best practice in workforce management; -Providing valuable networking opportunities for HR practitioners.
