The Conference offers the opportunity for solicitors to comply with the New South Wales Government’s mandatory CLE requirement of Regulation 176 of the New South Wales Legal Profession Act.
MCLE (Mandatory Continuing Legal Education) If any lecture in the Conference is relevant to your immediate or long term needs in relation to professional development or the practice of law, you should claim one (1) MCLE unit for each hour of attendance, not including refreshment breaks. The annual requirement for solicitors is 10 MCLE units and the annual requirement for solicitors who are accredited specialists is 20 MCLE units, calculated from 1st April to 31st March the following year. The number of claimable units for each Conference session is indicated in the body of the brochure and on the Registration Form pages.
