This year's Conference follows on from the highly successful Conference held in November 2006 and we expect a high level of registration. Now that the Future Submarine is listed in the Defence Capability Plan, the task is to focus on the issues to be addressed as the project gathers momentum. The Conference will review the strategic, political and military environment into which these submarines will be launched and consider some of the emerging technologies that might/should be considered in meeting the requirements for this vital national capability. Progress of the highly successful project to ensure HMAS AE2's place in the Gallipoli story will also be reported.
