The conference will include the isolation, structure determination (using spectroscopic methods and total synthesis), elucidation of biosynthetic pathways and understanding of the mode of action against cellular targets of bioactive natural products present significant challenges to a wide scientific community.
This meeting aims to bring together academic and industrial researchers to discuss the radical advances in these areas in recent years on a variety of bioactive natural products, including alkaloids, terpenes, non-ribosomal peptides and polyketides.
Plenary lectures will be complemented by contributed talks and posters to highlight this progress, and to identify new perspectives for natural products.
