The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) in collaboration with the Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Health Care and the Department of Health, South Australia will host the National Forum on Safety and Quality in Health Care at the Adelaide Convention Centre 29-31 October 2008. The theme for the Forum is “Safety and Quality is Everyone’s Business”
In conjunction with the Forum, The Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators will hold its Annual Scientific Meeting in conjunction with the Conference, including its annual general meeting, fellowship graduation and Langford Oration.
This major national event will provide opportunities to share experiences, challenges and successes that have driven the quality and safety agenda in the Australian health care environment. Our keynote speakers will enable us to learn from international experiences and offer the opportunity to share and compare our vision and journey for change.
Contributions are invited for abstracts addressing one or more of the forum themes. You may choose to submit your abstract for either an oral presentation in a formal concurrent session or a poster presentation.
Posters will be on display at the forum and authors will be allocated a time to discuss their work with delegates. If you wish to submit an abstract for consideration by the Scientific Committee, you must also intend to register for the forum. Please note that abstracts should have an emphasis on ideas for action and tools for implementation.

The general objective of INTED2009 is to share your experiences in the fields of Technology, Education, Development and International Collaboration.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is the 1st of December 2008.
